Hi, my name is Rico Adams. I am a U.S. Army veteran who served six years across various posts including Afghanistan and Kuwait. Following a medical separation, I discovered a passion for high-end timepieces that quickly grew into a thriving career. Leveraging this passion, I launched two successful Kickstarter campaigns to create my first watch brand, RHYNO, which enjoyed a successful 10-year run.

The DBR logo, a star, symbolizes balance, harmony, renewal, and rebirth in a profound way. It embodies my personal journey back into the intricate world of horological art after experiencing a period of burnout and stepping away from watchmaking for some time. Although I took a break, my passion never faded—it quietly simmered, only to emerge stronger, louder, and more focused than ever before. Every timepiece I create today represents the very best of my evolving abilities at that particular moment, crafted with the intention of never repeating past art works. My ultimate goal is to continually push higher, break new creative boundaries, and evolve in my craft.
